CASE STUDY: Farmhouse Renovation, Coverack
Brief:
This project involved the renovation of two farm cottages, recently purchased by the same family in an idyllic location near the Lizard peninsula. The cottages had been neglected and been the victim of some previous unsuccessful DIY. We undertook to completely renovate both cottages which lead to a complete rewire, new heating, bathrooms, kitchens, flooring, internal & external decoration, complete new foul drainage system and general alterations. One of the cottages was to be occupied by its owner, the other is to be a holiday let. As with most old cornish cottages the works had to be undertaken in a sympathetic and often unconventional manner!
