Commercial Plumber - Cornwall and Isles of Scilly

  • Extensive Plumbing experience in a commercial environment 
  • BPEC Unvented Hot Water Systems Certificate 
  • BPEC/WRAS water regulations certificate 
  • Minimum NVQ2 in a related discipline 
  • Full UK Driving Licence  

Desirable: 

  • Gas or Oil qualifications
  • SSSTS 
  • Asbestos Awareness Certificate
  • Experience with renewable technologies such as Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar thermal etc

In return we offer a fully expensed company van with fuel card, full PPE, company workwear and contributory Company Pension. Paid holiday is 28 days per year including Bank Holidays, rising incrementally after 2 years’ service. We also actively encourage and provide excellent opportunities for progression, training and personal development. We don't expect you to have a full range of tools, but own basic hand and power tools would be advantageous.

 

Basic working is 40 hours per week Monday – Friday with attractive overtime rates and a flexible working scheme which offers a lunchtime finish on a Friday.

 

We do not currently offer an out of hours call out service, although this is something we are considering offering for which a premium will be payable. From time to time you may be required to work in areas which may involve short periods staying away from home.

 

Salary to £33,000 per annum dependant on experience and qualifications.

Electrician - Cornwall and Isles of Scilly 

 

Due to an increase in workload, we are looking to recruit a full time Approved Electrician to our expanding Mechanical and Electrical team.

 

The role will involve the carrying out of electrical repairs, maintenance and installation work in accordance with the IEE Regulations and the industry Codes of Practice. This is an exciting time for us as we also expand into the installation of Electric Vehicle Chargepoints through our trading name 'Cornwall Chargepoint', such work to be incorporated into this role.

Here's the essentials and desirables:

 

Essential:

  • Full clean driving licence
  • Qualified to a minimum 18th Edition standard
  • C&G 2391 Test and Inspection (or 2394/2395)
  • Experience in filling out certification
  • Hold a current in date ECS Card
  • Good time keeping
  • Have a positive can-do attitude with the ability to work unsupervised at a good pace
  • The desire to support our electrical apprentice program 

     

Desirable:

  • Experience with managing and motivating a small team
  • Familiarity with using a tablet and online certification software
  • Experience/qualified in the installation and maointenance of sustainable technologies such as Solar PV, EV Charging, Air Source Heat Pumps etc.
  • C&G 2396-01 - Design and Vwerification of Electrical Installations
  • PASMA
  • IPAF
