RG Kellow Radon Remediation

Radon is a radioactive gas, we can't see, smell or taste it: you need special equipment to detect it. It comes from the rocks and soil found everywhere in the UK. The radon level in the air we breathe outside is very low but can be higher inside buildings. Much of Cornwall is designated as a radon affected area. This means that at least 1% of the domestic properties have a radon level at or above the action level of 200 Becquerels per cubic metre (Bq/m-3).

As members of the UK Radon Association, we have undertaken a range of remediation projects across Cornwall in the residential and education sectors. These have included installing positive pressure fans, below ground sumps and radon extract fans through to being comissioned to undertake a large radon reduction project in a below ground teaching space at Falmouth University.

Contact us for further advice, testing or to obtain a quotation for any remedial works.  We would be pleased to carry out a free no obilgation survey of your property.
